It is also claimed that the German champions do not want to pay Bellerin’s price tag due to their reservations about the his defensive work.
After being poached from the Barcelona youth set-up nine years ago, Bellerin has spent his entire senior career at Arsenal, making his debut in 2013.
He became a favourite among supporters, featuring 195 times and providing 25 assists for the club, before struggling for form this season.
He has won just 41 per cent of his defensive duels and only 44 per cent of his aerial battles this season.
Bellerin has also endured his lowest tackle success rate – 65 per cent – since joining in 2011.
Arsenal have often opted to play with five at the back this season, with the Spaniard playing in a wing-back role.

Though Bellerin is contracted at Arsenal until 2023, it is believed that the termination of his deal may be mutual between club and player.
Bellerin played 84 minutes in their 2-1 north London derby defeat by Tottenham, before being replaced by Cedric Soares – who signed a new contract earlier this month.
In addition, Bellerin has only featured 15 times during his side’s 35 Premier League games this season.
Paris Saint-Germain have, however, been linked with a potential swoop. The Ligue 1 champions have a vacant spot at right-back after Thomas Meunier joined Borussia Dortmund.
