West Ham have been tipped to follow Grady Diangana’s sale with up to five more departures in the summer transfer window. Diangana has long been tipped for a bright future at West Ham and impressed on loan at West Brom last season.
There was plenty of optimism among West Ham fans at seeing the 22-year-old return to the London Stadium to be a part of David Moyes’ plans for the upcoming season.
But West Ham announced on Friday that an agreement had been struck for Diangana to join the Baggies in a permanent deal worth £18million.
Hammers captain Mark Noble made his feelings on the transfer known in a scathing post on Twitter after the news broke.
“As captain of this football club I’m gutted, angry and sad that Grady has left, great kid with a great future,” Noble tweeted.
