The 95th minute goal ensured recently-promoted Brest came away from 10-man Dijon with a 2-0 win, after Romain Perraud opened the scoring in the first half.
But it was 23-year-old Cardona’s thunderous volley that could be an early Puskas Award contender for goal of the season.
The former Monaco player sent social media wild – with many comparing his effort to the antics in cult film Shaolin Soccer.
Remarkably, with PSG having now lost their first two matches of the season, Cardona’s underdogs sit above the French heavyweights on the table.
