Paul Scholes and Owen Hargreaves both believe 19-year-old Mason Greenwood is a better finisher than Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial.
The Manchester United forward found the net once again this evening, scoring the opening goal against RB Leipzig.
Before the match, Red Devils heroes Scholes and Hargreaves were waxing lyrical about Greenwood and his meteoric rise.
And both men believe he is a better finisher than his United striking counterparts.
“Yeah he excites me, very much so. I think he’s the best finisher out of the three as well,” Scholes told BT Sport.
“Left foot, right foot. He can score goals from anywhere. A bit disappointed that Marcus isn’t playing because last season the three of them together at times were devastating.
“A little bit disappointed but still think they have enough goals in them to win the game.”
Hargreaves added: “He’s off the charts. He’s just a natural. Even form the first time I saw him play, he doesn’t even celebrate the goals he scores.
“He just expects to score. I’m with Scholsey, he’s the most natural finisher of the lot.
“Rio’s right, he’s going to go right to the top.
“When you’re producing those numbers at that age, it’s remarkable.”
Greenwood has encountered trouble off the pitch in recent months over his professionalism.
But Solskjaer has consistently defended the young forward.
“Mason made a mistake this summer with England and suddenly the whole English press go after him,” said Solskjaer.

“I have to disappoint you [media], he is never late for training. He is never a problem when he is on the training ground. He is always on time. I have seen the stories and some ex-United players talking about him and they don’t know what they are talking about.
“We have photographers outside the training ground every day, they can see he is on time every day. I don’t know where these stories have come from.
“He has a good family behind him. He has had a good background in the academy. He is a good trainer. He trains really well. I cannot believe all these stories about him not being professional.”
