Everton are remaining tight-lipped over the growing number of reports crediting the club with interest in Kalidou Koulibaly.
Claims in both UK and Italian media this week have said Carlo Ancelotti wants to be reunited with the defender he managed at Napoli.
Koulibaly was a target for Everton in the summer of 2016 – when Ronald Koeman was in charge – but the Blues were unable to convince the Serie A side to sell the Senegal international despite claiming to be ready to meet his £60m asking price.
And Everton are being linked with Koulibaly again ahead of a summer transfer window in which Ancelotti is looking to make “two or three” additions to his squad.

A new right-back is on the Blues’ shopping list but it is not yet certain which areas of the team the Blues are hoping to strengthen.
Ancelotti has said they will be targeting areas in which they have experienced “difficulties” this term and given Everton’s performances this season, central defence wasn’t seen as a priority area.
But reports have emerged this week linking the Blues with renewing their interest in Koulibaly but, thus far, the club are staying silent on the matter.
