Footage of Man Utd protestor ‘sniffing white powder off stolen corner flag’ emerges

Footage has emerged of a Manchester United protester appearing to ‘sniff white powder off a stolen corner flag’.

Red Devils supporters broke onto the Old Trafford pitch to protest against the Glazers on Sunday, postponing the Premier League clash with Liverpool.

While they left in an ‘orderly fashion’, some of the group were seen leaving with ‘balls, corner flags and camera equipment’.

And footage obtained by The Sun has now emerged of one supporter who was seen taking a corner flag from the 80,000-seater stadium using his souvenir for another reason.

The video showed a suspicious white powder getting placed on the ground end of the corner flag before the fan crouched down to sniff it.

The supporter held up the flag, which has the club crest, and shouted ‘United’

He then held up the flag, which has the Premier League giant’s crest on it – which shouting “United” into the camera.

A group of approximately 200 fans made their way onto the Old Trafford turf, protesting against the club owners following the European Super League fallout.

Making their way over to the Sky Sports broadcasting platform to get the message across, one supporter tried to throw a flare in their direction.

While the group on the pitch did make their way out of the ground again in an ‘orderly fashion’, some did take ‘balls, corner flags and camera equipment’.

But another group was found later in the VIP boxes, with police forced to step in and one was left with “life-changing” injuries.

Greater Manchester Police have also released a statement saying one has been arrested following the protests while six officers have been injured.
