Bayern Munich have seemingly shot down suggestions they are interested in signing Gini Wijnaldum this summer.
The Dutchman is out of contract at Liverpool and, having failed to agree new terms, is set to leave the club when his deal expires.
The midfielder’s agent, Humphry Nijman, publicly encouraged the Bundesliga outfit to make contact with him if they were interested in the 30-year-old following reports they wanted to sign Wijnaldum.
However, Nijman, and legal adviser, Jan Kabalt, have since held talks with Barcelona regarding a potential three-year deal.
The pair were pictured leaving the stadium on Tuesday morning following a meeting over a summer agreement.

And former Bayern president Uli Hoeness has since claimed the Bavarians are not interested in Liverpool’s number five.
Speaking to Sport 1, he said: “I’ve heard that we’re not interested in this player at all.
“There will be no big transfers (at Bayern). You can forget that. This was agreed between the Board of Management and the Supervisory Board at the last meeting.”
