Tim Cahill has admitted he is sad to see Carlo Ancelotti leave Everton after the Italian’s departure was confirmed on Tuesday evening.
The 61-year-old still had three years remaining on his contract at Goodison Park but chose to re-join Real Madrid after a number of Spanish outlets had reported talks between the two parties on Monday evening.
The Blues were left shocked by developments and now will begin their search for another new manager, who will be the sixth permanent boss during Farhad Moshiri’s time at the club.
And Everton hero Cahill quickly took to social media in the aftermath of Ancelotti’s decision to share his disappointment, but urge fans to stick together.
