Mason Mount is reportedly in contention to start for England against Germany at Wembley on Tuesday evening.
The Three Lions face their rivals in the last-16 of Euro 2020 with Mount and team-mate Ben Chilwell having been self-isolating for the past week.
The duo had to train away from the rest of the squad, though their self-isolation period is now over.
It means both are available for the clash with Germany with Sky Sports reporting that Mount is a possible starter.
England ace Harry Maguire has backed Mount to feature at Wembley despite the time away from the rest of the squad.
Maguire told ITV: “For sure he’s a fit lad, I think he’s been doing work from a distance and working away from the group.
“I’m sure he’s been doing a lot of running as well because there’s not much you can do when you’re working away from the group.
“His fitness will be there so I’m sure he’ll be available, well I hope he’ll be available because he’s a big part of the team, as is Ben as well.
“It’s been disappointing for those, we had to make sure we had to beat Czech Republic to put a smile on their faces as I’m sure they were kicking every ball watching it on TV. It’s disappointing, but like I say I’m sure they’ll be available.”
While England boss Gareth Southgate said: “Both of them have been doing training in small groups, away from the main group so they have been able to keep up their match fitness.
“In terms of team selection and involvement against Germany, their quarantine ends at midnight the day before the game.
“Their involvement in the game will not only be from a physical perspective, but a psychological one too as they have been in a room on their own for a long period of time, therefore we have to consider this too before picking the squad ahead of the Germany game.”
