Leeds endured a nightmare start to their Premier League campaign as they were thrashed 5-1 by Manchester United on Saturday.
New signing Junior Firpo made his debut off the bench, but the squad was relatively the same as last season, with three weeks left for Marcelo Bielsa to make further acquisitions.
Leeds do have a strong squad, but the manner of the defeat may tempt Bielsa into making more signings to ensure that they establish themselves as a Premier League side for a second consecutive season.
Several names have been linked with a move to Elland Road this summer, and some are now starting to look increasingly likely.
Daily Star Sport brings you the latest transfer news on all things Leeds United.
Adolfo Gaich not registered in Russia
Adolfo Gaich has not been registered to play for CSKA Moscow this season and he looks set to leave the club this summer.
The Argentinian striker featured for his country during the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and spent the previous season on loan with Benevento in Italy, but his time in Russia appears to be over.
Leeds have been linked with the striker this summer, and the news has put the club on high-alert, with some outlets have reporting that a bid has already been made.
However, it is believed that Gaich has his heart set on a move back to Italy.

Leeds readying second O’Brien bid
Lewis O’Brien has been heavily linked to Leeds this summer, and according to Football Insider, the midfielder has told Huddersfield that he wants secure a move to Elland Road.
Huddersfield have already rejected offers from two clubs for O’Brien this summer, one from Leeds, and they are expected to launch a second bid to land the 22-year-old.
O’Brien has been left out of Huddersfield’s opening two Championship games so far this season, increasing speculation that he will leave the club.
It’s likely Huddersfield are just holding out for an increased offer for their midfielder, and Leeds will have to increase their bid to land their target.
Liverpool rival Leeds for Adama Traore
Adama Traore was linked with a move to Elland Road this summer but Wolverhampton’s £40million price-tag seemed to end speculation.
A further blow to Leeds, is that Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing the Spaniard, according to 90min.
Traore is keen to leave Molineux according to reports, but it is yet to be seen if anyone will submit an offer in the region of the £40million that Wolves are asking for.
Leeds may have an advantage however, as their football chief Victor Orta worked with Traore during his time at Middlesbrough after he convinced him to sign at the Riverside following a poor spell at Aston Villa.
